Terms of sale

These terms of sale apply to all purchases in the online shop diwine.ee. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.

2. Age restriction

We sell alcoholic beverages only to persons aged 18 or over. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. The courier or parcel locker provider may check the recipient's age and identity on delivery. If the recipient's age cannot be verified or there is reason to believe the customer is a minor, we have the right to cancel the order and refund the payment.

3. Prices

All prices are in euros and include VAT. The delivery fee is added to the product price and is shown at checkout before you confirm the order. If a product price is clearly shown incorrectly by mistake, we will contact you and you may cancel the order and receive a full refund.

4. Placing an order

Add the products you want to the cart, enter your details at checkout, choose a delivery and payment method and confirm the order. Once payment is successful, we will send an order confirmation to your email. The contract of sale is concluded when the payment has been received.

If an ordered product is unexpectedly out of stock, we will let you know as soon as possible and offer a replacement or refund the amount paid for that product.

5. Payment

You can pay for your order via Montonio: by Estonian bank link (“Pay in bank”), by card or with MobilePay. Apple Pay and Google Pay may also be available at checkout. Payments are processed by secure payment service providers – diWine never sees or stores your card or bank details. Unpaid orders are cancelled automatically.

6. Delivery

We deliver orders via Montonio:

to a parcel locker – Omniva, DPD, SmartPosti and Venipak;
by courier to your door.

Delivery to a parcel locker is free for orders from €50. Otherwise, the delivery fee is shown at checkout before you confirm the order.

We usually pack your order and hand it over to the carrier within 1–2 working days of receiving payment. Delivery usually takes 1–3 working days in Tallinn and Harju County and 2–5 working days elsewhere in Estonia. If delivery is delayed, we will let you know. The carrier will notify you by text message or email when your parcel arrives.

Please check your parcel on receipt. If the packaging or a bottle has been damaged in transit, take a photo of the damage and let us know at info@diwine.ee as soon as possible, preferably within 3 days – we will find a solution.

If a parcel is not collected within the time set by the carrier and is returned to us, we will refund the order amount minus the costs of the return shipment.

7. Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the day you received the goods, without giving any reason.

To withdraw, send us a clear statement by email to info@diwine.ee, stating your name and order number.
Send the goods back no later than 14 days after submitting your withdrawal notice. The buyer bears the cost of returning the goods.
The goods must be unopened and in their original packaging. If the value of the goods has decreased because they were handled in a way not necessary to establish their nature and characteristics (for example, a bottle has been opened), we may reduce the refund accordingly.
We will refund all payments received from you, including the original standard delivery cost, no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notice. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof of having sent them.
Refunds are made to the same account or card you used to pay for the order.

8. Faulty goods and complaints

If the goods do not conform to the contract (for example, you received the wrong product, a bottle is broken or the wine is corked), you have the right to submit a complaint within two years of receiving the goods. Please notify us of the defect within a reasonable time, and no later than two months after discovering it.

You can submit a complaint by email to info@diwine.ee. Include your name, order number, a description of the defect and, if possible, a photo. We will reply within 15 days and offer a replacement or a refund.

Wine is a natural product. Differences between vintages, natural sediment or tartrate crystals in the bottle are not defects.

If we cannot resolve a dispute between us, you may turn to the Consumer Disputes Committee (Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority, www.ttja.ee).

9. Discount codes and promotions

Discount codes can be applied at checkout before you confirm the order. Unless stated otherwise, one code can be used per order. A personal discount code (such as the −10% code sent when you join our newsletter) can be used once, is tied to the customer's email address and is valid for the period stated with the code. Discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash or applied to orders already placed.

Gift cards. A gift card is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. It can be used to pay for any product in the online shop; any unused balance stays on the card until it expires. A gift card cannot be exchanged for cash or used to buy another gift card. Discounts and discount codes do not apply to the purchase of a gift card.

10. Personal data

11. Liability

We are not liable for failure to perform or delay in performing the contract if this is caused by circumstances beyond our control (force majeure), such as carrier disruptions, natural disasters or government restrictions. We will inform you of any such situation as soon as possible.

12. Final provisions

We may amend these terms of sale. Your order is governed by the terms published at the time the order was placed. These terms of sale are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia.

Alcohol is harmful to your health. We sell alcohol only to adults (18+).
