Espectacle Vins
Espectacle Vins is a special project behind which stand three big names of the wine world: René Barbier (Clos Mogador), Christopher Cannan (Clos Figueras) and Fernando Zanzonico. Their aim is to make just one wine – Espectacle del Montsant – expressing the terroir of Montsant and an exceptional old Garnacha vineyard.
Producer story
The grapes come from vines more than 100 years old growing on a steep, stony Montsant slope near the village of La Figuera. Cool mountain nights balance the daytime warmth, giving the wine unique depth and freshness.
The wine is made with natural yeasts, minimal intervention and French oak barrels to keep the grapes' natural expression and elegance. The name Espectacle ("spectacle") refers to the wine's unique character – deep, complex and moving, made for long enjoyment.
